Driver's Education Fee Info

DRIVER’S LICENSE PROCEDURE


When applying for a Virginia Learners Permit, students must take the following to the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) Office:


  1. Birth Certificate
  2. Social Security Card
  3. School Enrollment Form (obtained in the Guidance Office)

All candidates for Virginia Learners Permit must be fifteen (15) years and six (6) months of age and be accompanied by a parent or guardian when making application.


Candidates for Virginia Drivers Licenses must have had their Virginia Learners Permit a minimum of nine (9) months before receiving their driver’s license.



BEHIND THE WHEEL DRIVER TRAINING


Students may sign up for behind the wheel driver training through the guidance office.  There is a fee of $50 for this training.  Students will be scheduled for the training before or after school or during the school day according to their class schedule.
