Northwood High School offers the following athletic teams to our student athletes:
FALL SEASON

Cross Country (Girls and Boys)

Softball
Outdoor Track and Field (Girls and Boys)
All athletes are required to have a VHSL physical form on file with the school. Physicals are valid for 14 months from the date of the physical exam. Physicals are required to participate in off-season workouts and open gyms, including summer camps.
All athletes must meet VHSL and Smyth County academic eligibility requirements in order to try-out and participate.

SPORTS SEASON PARENT & ATHLETE MEETINGS are held at the beginning of each season. These meetings are required for each athlete and a parent or guardian.
